July 8: This was a very special day. We are traveling to Anchorage to meet up with Sean's parents!
I sent this video to Sean's mom.
She sent me this one! lol!
Look at these two bums we found in the park! They sat still on the bench while we got the pups out to see if the pups would find their scent or recognize them. Sure enough, Hershey was hot on the trail and found them shortly after exiting the motorhome. Skittles followed suit and they were all happy noises and lots of licks!
We thought the bums would be hungry, so we took them to eat.
LOL! This crazy & fun lady!
After filling our bellies, we went to Earthquake park and walked the paths around there.
It's crazy to think this place experiences so many earthquakes all the time and the land is constantly moving.
We went down the the Airport Knoll, where the airplanes will land or takeoff right over you. This video shows a 747 land over the knoll.
Alaska Airlines plane.
Then, we wanted to see the float plane airport on Hood Lake.
We ran a few errands while in town, and then, Sean and his Dad discussed plans for booking a tour for our next travel stop.
After all the errands were complete and dinner ate, we all took an evening stroll down Ship Creek walking trail to try to find some salmon.
This picture was taken at 10:30pm. Still lots of light and it's hard to know any sense of time. Something we haven't gotten used to despite being North for a couple months. Sean's parents noticed this, too.

Found some salmon! After a bit more walking, we decided to retire for the day.
