September 10-12: We were on the road to Minneapolis, MN and happened to pass by a huge mining area that turned out to be a historic iron mine in Hibbing, MN. The town is also famous for being the birthplace of Greyhound Lines, Inc!
The Greyhound Bus Museum featured everything you could think for marketing, die cast models, retired buses, uniforms, memorabilia, etc.

Iconic symbol of Americana!
Now... back to our "Greyhounds" in our Greyhound, lol!
We started to experience something we haven't really seen for a while... traffic. We were staying at a KOA campground and there was construction. Apparently, they were opening some roads and closing others, but there was no communication to us that this was the case and we ended up circling around on tiny roads a few times before we figured out how to get to the correct road. We did manage to finally get to our site.
The next day, we were headed to The Mall of America!
Crochet craft store (I did buy a little project from here).
Massive Lego store!
Crayola store! This made me very nostalgic and I had to find the scented markers and crayons from my childhood.
Of course, we had to get hot sauce from the Pepper Palace!
Sean remembers, from his childhood, standing here and watching Tony Hawk skateboard back and forth shaking peoples hands as he would fly up in the air to the various mall levels.
And then... Candy store! We left shortly after this to fight through Minneapolis traffic. It took us 4 hours to see all of the mall in its entirety!
Next up, surprise RV show!
They didn't have any diesel pushers, so Sean lost interest pretty fast, but it was neat to see some RVs we had never seen the layouts of. For instance, we have only seen inside 1 truck camper and we have never seen the inside of the Brinkley trailers. It was interesting to see the difference in quality, as well.
We swung by Fleet Farm to check out what they have. Turns out it's an amazing farm store that I wish we had in Texas.
