Garden of the Gods and the starting Northward

On our last day in Colorado spending time with the family, we decided to show our parents an overlook of an active gold mine in the Cripple Creek area.

The mine is named the Cripple Creek and Victor Gold Mine. It is massive.

While looking out at the Goldmine and surrounding mountains, Sean saw two ears going behind a bush. A few seconds later a fox decided to come out and take a look at us. Heather managed to capture this awesome picture of the fox:

 After this, we decided to go down to Colorado Springs and visit Garden of the Gods.

While we were in Colorado Springs, we decided to take the Jeep back to the tire shop due to there still being a low reading on the tire we initially told them was having problems. Behold, they found another nail! Is it just our luck that we had 3 nails in tires in 1 week???

When we got back to Cripple Creek, we spent the rest of the day playing horseshoes and hanging out with the family.
