Bring On The Heat!

July 16th, we were very eager to get to Liard Hot Springs and take a dip! We encountered quite a bit of wildlife on the road to the Provincial Park. On the drive there we saw 2 Moose, Dall Sheep and stone sheep, and caribou. Unfortunately, we weren't able to get any pictures except for the Stone Sheep.

We pulled into Liard Hot Springs Provincial Park and got settled in one of the last sites they had available due to all the RV Rally tour groups

The Hot Springs was awesome and we stayed for two days. The water ranges from 108 degrees to over 120 degrees depending on which part of the pools you go into. Much of the water is so hot that Sean could not even go into it.

On the second day at Liard Hot Springs, we decided to go exploring up the highway and go eat some buffalo burgers. I am sure glad we did. There were 3 bears in this 20 KM section right next to the road and probably 50 buffalo.
