Late Start

We were supposed to be up and ready to leave by 0700 the next morning and surprising everyone was ready to go near that time. But, then we ran across a problem...flat tire on the tag axle of the motorhome.

We tried to see if we could air it up with our handy-dandy air compressor, and successfully did so. Then we heard "psssssstssssst." Uh, oh...Since there wasn't any visible damage from the front of the tire Sean felt around the back side of the tire to see if he could feel where the air was leaking and ran across a nail sticking out of the sidewall of the tire.
Luckily, this is why we added roadside assistance to the motorhome insurance. We called up our insurance company and they were trying to find a place that was open on Sunday, and they were having trouble, so I decided to look on the internet at a few places to see if I could find a place. I didn't have much luck, but our travel companion Mary Ann (Grana, to us) pointed out that we should look in the Campground pamphlet to see if anyone was advertised. We called one place and they were so kind to refer us to Two Bears LLC. They said they would be able to come out in about an hour and stated they worked with our insurance. Thank goodness! One of the owners and a mechanic he had hired came out and we were on the road in no time!
